Two officials from different Florida counties report “what looks like ‘a congealed GLOB of VASELINE’ that is HOVERING just offshore”

The Tampa Tribune is reporting officials in the Florida counties of Santa Rosa and Escambia are noticing "what looks like 'a congealed glob of Vaseline' that is hovering just offshore, [Gordon Goodin, a county commissioner in Santa Rosa] said."

The commissioner is likely interested in more tourist revenue for his county -- as he denies that ANY oil is beneath the beach sand, contradicting the discoveries by scientists discussed in the same article -- so his 'Vaseline'-like glob report should be taken rather seriously.
