Claims DENIED for dozens of businesses just hundreds of feet from water… ON ISLAND with “oil all around us” — “No way to appeal” (VIDEO)

Alabama Leads in Denied Claims, WKRG, September 24, 2010:

Transcript Excerpts

Jeff Silvers... [says] "[W]e just got our notice that we were denied." It's the same story all up and down Canal Road in Orange Beach as dozens of business claims go from being "under review" to denied.

Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon [talked] with Kenneth Feinberg earlier today. "From what I understand the denials are based on proximity to the oil." "We are a half a mile away from the gulf," says Silvers. "We are probably a third of the mile away from the bay. We had oil all around us."

Kennon says... "Which just astounds me because these are all businesses down on the island... and we were all affected."

So far there is no way to appeal a denied claim.

Why are these people not just suing? Because they need it now, right? Yet, these snakes aren't going to give anything - they proved that by buying the president and the local govs and the media with the money instead

Are there any hanging trees in this area. First of course is the traditional tar and feathering.

  • It's good to have friends in the White House: BP is stingy with fair compensation for those effected by their negligence and greed [go, go, go/faster, faster, faster], but are held in high esteem by Barry Soetoro: Afterall, it was BP who donated the most money for his campaign.

Foreign people and governments receive the representation that American citizens are denied.

    God save the Queen!

Hit and run aided rape, theft and murder.

Now if we only knew this is a preamble to international deals. U.S. gov't is erasing citizens in a hundred ways.
This is just openers folks. The sooner we get that the sooner we can take care of our own 100%.
    We don't have a gov't. That's not what's happening.
International court are a bunch of gelded pantywaists.
    We're on our own.

Please read Senate Bill S.3473, [passed 6/09/10], just google it. This is an ammendment to the Oil Act that AUTHORIZES ADVANCES FROM THE BP OIL TRUST FUND. SEE FOR YOURSELF WHERE THE MONEY IS GOING. NO WHERE DOES IT STATE THE MONEY WILL BE USED FOR THE PEOPLE. PLEASE PASS THIS ON.

Anybody who still believes the gov't is for the people by the people is delusional. It's for the cronies by the cronies, as this article so elegantly points out:

    http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=167483

But this administration, like the one before it, doesn't give a **** what the law says.

Thousands of non-union workers got illegally ****ed so the union cronies could be paid off.

It doesn't end there, of course.

  • Pat,

Thanks. The article as written is very informative even as it was written in 2008.

And yes, it's another unjust mechanism used against the people for the gain of, and cover for criminals. Welcome to another day like yesterday, last year, last decade, last century....

    SPECIAL NOTE:

Those crimes enlarged the comfort of a certain segment of our society, who themselves are criminals, and are illegally protected from prosecution. But, that is protected for now....

    You're Welcome.

And I agree with Turtledove we are on our own - we are being abandoned by every element we thought would support our way of life. I dread to think what the future holds.
