Solo Courtney worked for B-P for around a month and has got wind of the downside of his former job.

"I heard of people getting rashes and stuff like that." said Solo Courtney.

That's why the national institutes of health will conduct a study... looking at health effects from the spill.

Researchers will study crews' exposure to oil and dispersants, and the potential consequences they could face... Like respiratory problems and mental health issues.

  • If I were a BP worker, former or otherwise, I would not allow the National Institutes of Health to *study* me. Don't forget about the Tuskagee (sp) experiment: Black males were studied for years to follow the disease progression of syphilis -- without remedy.

    Yes. The researchers discovered that insanity is one of the results of untreated syphilis. So much for studies.

    And, IMHO The National Institutes of Health have never developed a cure for any disease, although they did come up with pharmaceuticals.
