BP is paying to retrain fishermen so they can get “a new stable job”

Oil spill job training grants, Fox 8, January 27, 2011:

The federal government plans to spread a $1 million grant for use in Plaquemines, St. Bernard, and St. Tammany parishes to help those affected by BP's oil spill. ...

The money is available to fisherman them get [sic] trained into a new field or industry that they feel would be more productive and that would keep them in a new stable job. ...

[T]he state is sending the bills to BP and they will reimburse the cost.
