gotta wonder if the well is still leaking. why else would BP be dumping corexit into the GOM.....hmmmmmm..and how would we find out if the well is still leaking; seems the ROV video cams are off, so it's their word against everyone else.
BP has given Florida over $50 Million Dollars in “positive” advertising to get the tourists to come down to visit. The State of Florida owns more than $160 Million Dollars of BP stock. I live on the East Coast of Florida, Palm Beach County, and my jogging/biking days are getting more and more difficult. After my workouts, my “breathing tubes” are getting more and more inflamed. I need to drink a cup of tea/coffee after my workouts to enable myself to breathe easier. I am planning to leave before November. Florida has been taken over by BP. Do not believe any positive news…things down here are getting worse and worse. I understand and have compassion for those that cannot leave. This is their home. They have a house, job, bills to pay…not everyone can just up and leave. We need to have compassion and pray for those who cannot leave. God Bless You and Yours. I wish everyone Peace.
I left,Florida,July 15. Not because of the oil,but because of the dispersants (more than,Corexit brand has been used from what I've read).
I literally had to pack my,small car (not a van or SUV) for a single trip out of the state.
It's interesting to be able to discard so many material things in a single decision.
Things are finally stable where I landed (still employed,too).
This is only the beginning of this mess. The storms that are coming from the,Gulf will now spread the poisons for miles.

I think it probably is, this is what the use of corexit tells us, except if the amounts below surface are so huge they try to stop tham from coming up.
i hope someone will find ways to find out about the leak.
for Corexit, unless there is a huge reaction from people, it won't be stopped!!!!!! and nobody seems to react so....
I've told a friend about the continued use of corexit and he says "show me the dates" and so far I haven't found any recent witness accounts. As others have pointed out in this comment stream, if corexit is still being used that would suggest that there are still serious oil leaks, so it's important to get verifiable dates!
EPA law? Hmm, law which isn't enforced should be abandoned. I noticed that Gulf companies trying to sell their poisonous sea food everywhere in the US.
So, I guess I have to catch my own and stay away from groceries.
Corporations want to sell their product and make a proft. It's all about the bottom line. Once it's sold they have to get rid of it. Corporations are now amoral and have more rights than individual citizens. I'd be checking into what government representatives (congressmen, senators, president, etc. (such as Al Gore)) own stock in the corporation that produces corexit. It's us against the corporations now (who pay off our representatives via lobbyists and political PACs such as the foreign agent, AIPAC).
Why is the EPA watching BP dump tons of chemical dispersants into the water, not knowing what will happen?
A) We KNOW how to clean up oil
B) We DON'T KNOW the long term effects of using large amounts of this chemical dispersant.
So WHY is the EPA (supposedly protectors of the environment) letting BP dump lots of dispersants into the water while ADMITTING they don't know what the ultimate ecological impact could be?? (The UK ALREADY banned this dispersant [Corexit] out of environmental concerns)
It's obvious the Federal Government has very few capabilities to stop the flow of oil.............but couldn't they at least try to limit a potentially WORSE environmental disaster??
