The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) indicates that for crude oil, there is inadequate evidence for the carcinogenicity in humans. Crude Oil Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), August 2007:

Crude Oil is not listed as a carcinogen by the NTP, IARC, or OSHA.

    What a good study..1989 huh? 21 years ago? As the reference? Has anyone else done studies since then-or is it "find the report you like best" and use it?
