Fisherman Chris Laforce

On Tuesday, Sept 14th 2010, commercial fisherman Christopher Laforce called me at 8am to say there was a substance he had never seen before by the docks in Bayou la Batre, Alabama, caused by oil and dispersants from the BP oil disaster.

I took the photos from about 8:30 am to 9:30 am that same day, Sept 14th.

Also in Bayou la Batre on September 14: Oil, sheen reported in Alabama: “Patties, 1 to 3 inches across, floating along the seawall”
