Ocean Springs, MS caller:

(At 1:50 in) But there's one thing I'd like to ask BP.

They're putting monitors on these life vests, that just started yesterday.

Nobody knows what these monitors are.

I think they're air monitors to see if the fumes are coming up from the oil, but nobody really knows here what they are. They're not telling anybody.

  • whaaa?

hey, at least they're monitoring SOMETHING!!! (sigh.) :/

It's time for everyone to say their goodbyes there, pack up, and move.

I once worked at the University of Alabama at Birmingham as a lab technician. All lab personnel that worked with radioactive isotopes in their research were required to wear tags on their lab coats that would monitor their exposure to radiation.
