Eight months have passed since the BP blowout, and still the damage and devastation continue. Tar balls continue to wash up along Gulf shores. Oil sheen trails in the wake of fishing boats. Wetlands marsh grass remains dying and fouled. Toxic crude lies offshore in deep water and in fine silts and sands onshore.




Words cannot say what needs to be said.
People in the south leave, the longer you are there, the shorter your life. Your DNA will be no more nor your childrens, children.
Be sure to watch the prince get married and bow to the queen.

This article is six weeks old. It addresses the barrier islands.The barrier islands are covered in oil ...there is no real or hypothetical recovery.
It's my belief that the US GOM coastal areas were essentially " sold off " to big oil, and big oil/energy is preparing for their massive drilling operations by pulling the weeds and clearing the coast..by any means necessary.
