Tourists Poisoned By Swimming in the Gulf On Vacation During Oil Spill, 1 Dead, jerrycope1, March 8, 2011:
- Went swimming at Best Western in Fort Walton Beach, FL
- "Baby you've got all this orange stuff all over you"
- Little orange beads, tried to get it off but it just smeared in
- Like burnt orange sun tan oil
- Something worse than Jaws
- Children were out there too
- Spent 90 days in bed... like an induced sleep
- Every pore in body pouring out fluid
- "Like something out of a zombie film"
- Throwing up dark brown substance, the texture of grits
- Symptoms began one month after swimming in mid-July
- Lungs began to fill with cold fluid
- "This guy is going to die"
- At 15:25 -- Doctor: This may be a brand new illness
- Diagnosed with chemical exposure
- At 17:25 -- Toxicology report shows rare, negative bacteria in body similar to microbes that eat oil
- Still having symptoms, night sweats, sharp stabbing pain, stomach problems, lungs drowning in own acid

Quick question does "synthia" oil eating microbe contain mycoplasma mycoides. If so Dr. Garth Nicolson from the Institute for Molecular Medicine studies mycoplasma - website http://www.immed.org/ Don't know if this is the same but can say I knew a person who had mycoplasma infection turned into Wegners disease (different form of mycoplasma I think) but what I can see repeating is that corexit is a cytotoxin, mycoplasma types that granulate tissue are treated with a pharacuetical called cytoxan which is a synthetic mustard and steroids to control inflamation. The cytoxan lead to aplastic anemia.
People need to be extra cautious when in the vicinity of a massive disaster!! Shouldn't this man with experience working on oil rigs have known or at least suspected danger from exposure to toxic crude & dispersants in the Gulf at that time??? After getting covered in orange chemicals, they went out swimming again the next day?... But, their risky decisions don't excuse the authorities who promoted such tourism activities at that time!!
He's lucky to be alive, but will face ongoing health issues...Better to err on the side of caution!!!
I live near Hollywood Beach, FL and according to what I understand of the gulf stream loop, ocean currents pass by the eastern south florida coast....is it paranoid to expect toxicity here too? It's not as if the ocean had contained 'buckets' of water: what poisons one harms all- we are very close to this...please, anyone, advise.
See if taking food-digesting enzymes with meals stops the acid reflux.

Zelda: I left the Daytona area after having severe symptoms for five months. My blood tests were positive for markers of the BP oil, and benzene levels were quite high. Recovering up north. xdrfox is quite correct.
This is one of the worst disaster that the US has ever seen, and it's still being shoved under a rock.
There's a lot of people who still just listen to the regular media.
We don't want to believe or hear that it can effect us all, in some way.
However, people need to be warned.
They aren't getting warned through the regular media, like they should be.
There are many who believe that if it is not on the regular every day media news then this is not true.
I don't believe they can clean this mess up, they would need a pretty big vacuum.
I do hope they keep trying to figure this out.
I also hope they will work on learning how to stop it from making people sick and dying, taking care of the people who are sick, and helping those who have lost everything.
It's probably contaminated for good, and I would not be surprised if particles will be in the air to breath, in the water we drink, our crops, and our live stock.
I have no plans any time soon to go to any beach or eat sea food.
Even though I am far from the beach, it will probably reach here in some way.
I don't think this is going away any time soon on it's own, and people do not have medicines to cure what is happening to them.
I am hopeful the scientists are working on this.
This site is wonderful and gives out a lot of information.
Wish the regular media would start reporting what you folks are, informing and warning the people.
Thank you
WindorSolarPlease and others,
Here are a couple of link audios I listened to way back, and began to wait a photo the truths with these stories. And nothing has changed regarding the Oil Gusher and effects of oil alone but we know now that much was added to the oil making matters even worse. ... http://rense.gsradio.net:8080/rense/special/rense_Rifat_062310.mp3

On July 2, 2010, the Okaloosa County Health Department replaced the scary "health advisory" with the less threatening "oil impact notice". A quote from the press release:
"Therefore, any beach that had been under a health advisory will have beach signage replaced with an Oil Impact
Notice. A sticker will be placed over the old sign today until new signs can be produced."

Some truths about were you swim !
This is from the Florida recon photos. The GPS is coming up on Google maps as Fort Walton Beach. The sand looks clean, but look what's out past the breakers.

And here's a photo from farther EAST. Notice the orange streaks out in the water (bottom of photo). They show up better if you save the picture to your computer and then you can zoom in.

Those are from, 07-07-2010 and the orange streaks are possibly what them men swam in before getting sick, I have some pics of it here on the East Coast ... Oil appears to be sinking under the sands on beaches (PICS)

You can see it as well as black stuff here !
I tried to match the date, but I wasn't finding any good photos for 7/8 - 7/10. I think there's over 81,000 photos posted, and many of them don't have the date/time/GPS, or they are bad photos taken into the sun or don't show anything interesting.
The Florida emergency response personnel knew the oil was out there, but nothing was done to warn visitors of the danger. This seems criminal to me, especially after watching this heart-breaking video.
