In St. Bernard Parish, where many rely on the fishing trade to feed their families, Parish President Craig Taffaro said there have been complaints from some fishermen about mysterious ailments after coming in the wake of the oil spill.
"These men and women stepped up to save their livelihoods and I hope, and I'm going to be optimistic and cautiously optimistic that those individuals responsible for ensuring the safety for those people in oil response really did their homework, really knew what the consequences were."
Next they will tell you that you can contract benzene, etc. poisoning.. from the toilet seat!
