Oil still on beaches but workers let go, WEAR, September 19 2010 at 6:58 p.m. EDT:
TOM WOLFORD: "Right down here is a shelf of oil. That's just a tongue that sticks out"... "In the last four days alone I've uncovered 10,338 pounds of oil." ...
WEAR: "[The workers] got cut by B-P. The reason?
TOM WOLFORD: "Oil's gone, need to start cutting back."
WEAR: "Take a look at this- all of it's oil and tar balls. P2S clean up employees describe this sand as chocolate chip cookie dough... They say the tar balls are sitting just an inch or so below the surface, so wind brings it right to the top."
TOM WOLFORD: "Further east you go, out by the point, it is absolutely covered."
