The first link to the Picayune article states "1 million gallons" and "in nearly 20 years prior to the BP disaster". The second Picayune link does indeed state "1 million barrels" and does not contain the phrase "in nearly 20 years prior". The 2nd article is a few hours older than the first. Perhaps this was a mistake corrected in the later article. A call to the paper or scientist would probably clear this up.

It's probably most likely that that whistle blower will die in a car wreck,have a heart attack or commit suicide. It is the play book for the governments ghosts and keeps turning up like a bad penny time after time,look at all the people that were associated with the Clintons and their untimely deaths "coincidence or bad luck" I for one wish him good health.
