Since dying is a part of the normal process of life, the focus of Covenant Hospice is to enable our patients to live as fully and comfortably as possible, to provide dignified palliative care, to assist patients' loved ones in coping with end-of-life issues and the eventual death of the patient, and to improve care for all patients at the end of their lives by example and education.

Covenant Hospice exists in the hope and belief that through appropriate care, education and the promotion of a supportive community sensitive to the needs of the persons facing the end of life, patients and their loved ones may be able to obtain physical, mental, and spiritual preparation for the end of life, bereavement and renewal.

shouldn;t the headline read " counsel " instead of council ?

  • Easy does it on the Hospice assistance: It's a global *Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute* and is heavily invested in genomic research. Its home is in the UK and Queen Elizabeth holds it close to her breast, nuturing it with rewards for 'good works.' It's important to recall that Prince Phillip is an eugenicist and said that when he dies, he would love to return as a virus and kill all of humanity.

The person who started Hospice was named Dame Cicely Saunders, and although I suspect she was an eugenicist as well, I have found nothing to indicate that she was.

For a short-and-sweet history of Hospice -- if interested, please go to...

You'll discover that "cost effectiveness" was a buzz word back then, and Medicare is involved -- of course.

Oops! Almost forgot: Yale University [eugenics & euthanasia] and the Rockefeller University [Scientific Advisory Board] are knee deep in it as well.

My advice -- take-it-easy with Covenant Hospice. Be cautious; and the workers are extremely well intentioned.

I think folks were hoping to hear about a massive donation to feed some hungry people before a mass donation to counsel the dying.

Refreshing ways to cope with loss? What kind of coping methods could be considered "refreshing"? Maybe different, or better than other methods, but probably not refreshing.

There is a cascading effect of loses, jobs, income, homes, car/trucks, splitting of families. Shows you how to deal with losing everything and friends and family. Deaths from Cancer's and chemical poisonings will follow.

  • interesting...

oh, ok. "Deaths from cancers and chemical poisonings will follow" --!

  • xdrfox

These types chemical poisonings can start showing up weeks and months after eating the seafoods with liver and kidney damage or or breathing the VOCs even in mild doses daily ! Cases are showing up ! No Job, No money, FEMA has free coffins !

  • And Hospice has room if you can't detox or leave the Gulf of Mexico. Why willingly provide the eugenicists with the raw research material; to them you're no more important than a bowl of salt.

What if BP had to pay for all the people to relocate and buy their properties as the Oil company did in Kalamazoo Michigan did.

  • xdrfox: As we all know, BP wants to settle immediately -- before the magnitude of the assault against the people who live along the GOM becomes heavily documented with deaths, ectera.

The earlier you settle, the less it will cost BP. If possible, hold on to your property -- but leave as soon as you begin to feel ill. Your life is more valuable than your property.

BP wants both; I believe the property will become very valuable later on. For that to be true, BP must have a secret cleanup method waiting to restore the water, just after you leave.

    Crazy, but just thinking.

Yeah and a fisherman can't fish in Arkansas, you are not crazy, if they are working on a vaccine why not a cure as well for the gulf, but is there a cure for cancer ?

  • xdrfox

    oh ! did you look into AT&T DSL for $14.95 a month ? 750mbps beats - 56kbps dailup

  • xdrfox

Oldest Insurance opt, to starve people to settle, been like this for as long as I can remember !

  • xdrfox:

Consider WELLCOME TRUST SANGER INSTITUTE when you think of cancer; their specialty is genomic (recombinant DNA): To change, for example -- by removing genes from their position, then put them in a different position, or even in different species. Think snip-and-sew.

They add a different viral DNA insert -- from a different microorganism into the position. What you get is a new virus or bacteria.... It depends on the function of the cell whose nucleus has been violated. Most cancers were created in a lab, but not all. The GOM air and water will offer many cancer types. Sad.

  • Oops. Many DNA changes can have positive results. For example, we may learn how to cure disease by learning about, and repairing the violated DNA -- if that is the cause of the illness.

And there may be all the mutant types unknown yet to science that could emerge and what influence they will have on the Gulf.

Yes I have seen some news on advances in these areas. Interesting ideas that show promise, One was to alter the C cell to attack the others C cells in ways.

Or this young Lady, ... We are very, very close on the edge of losing everything. But, you know, God feeds the birds. How much more does he love us? I have to tell myself that, like, 100 times a day. ... http://www.npr.org/2010/11/29/131667797/bp-oil-well-capped-but-trauma-still-flowing
