The woes of the commercial fishermen concern me deeply. I've experienced and observed the ups-and-downs that the fishermen have endured for over 40 years as a member of a commercial fishing family. From Florida to Texas our family has worked these Gulf waters. ...

[T]he fishermen are now threatened with the BP massive oil spill which could destroy the commercial fishermen's way of life and could shut down many coastal towns. ...

I hope everyone keeps in mind that the oil spill didn't affect just the past few months but years to come in the future as well.
