Fresh tarballs wash up on Gulf Coast shores after Tropical Storm Lee, Press-Register by Ben Raines, September 10, 2011:
CAPTION: Tarballs [...] could be seen bleeding liquid oil on Thursday. The presence of oil in a liquid state inside some indicates the oil has not weathered a great deal
[... I]n the surf along the barrier islands of Alabama and Mississippi on Thursday [... t]he new tarballs ranged from the size of a quarter to blobs 8 inches across [...]
Moist and gooey, like a chocolate chip cookie just pulled from the oven, some of the fresh tarballs had layers of liquid oil inside them. Oil bled from the tarballs sitting in the sun on the beach, collecting in little pools on the sand. [...]
Ed Overton, an oil chemist and professor emeritus at Louisiana State University:
- Overton "described [the 'tarballs'] as 'jellybeans' — crusty on the outside with jelly in the center."
- “These new deposits are probably fresher oil."
- "These are probably more like globs of oil."
- “It sounds like there was a fairly thick lens of oil out there that had not mixed with sediment."
- "We’re going to be seeing this for years.”

Yes, it is believable. What isn't believable is that the news media supports BP's statement that it has all been cleaned up, and a job well done. That is freaking unbelievable!
Peace out!
Your right beachbum amazing no one is screaming about this but why should they the Usurped Gov. now tells us that radiation is good for us but why not Corexit is good for the skin and so so vitamin enriched yummy...Mabye Barry Soetorro should take family on fun filled swimming trip in the gulf w/some watersking, sandcastle building,oh snorkling too bet the kids would love that.....Come on Barry how about eating some freash fish caught out of gulf and not previously frozen like your last pathetic attempt(oh and more than just one shrimp),and don"t those kids deserve a few days at the beach they can roll around and bury each other in sand fun fun......Don"t want you to worry though BP says all the corexit YOU allowed to be used is all cleaned no danger....Besides you have already murdered those scientist whom have credibility and spoken out and paid off the rest.....What a sad bunch

No end in sight for oil in the Gulf of Mexico

They are trying to blame it on the geology itself..
Well..it was those gas-bearing sands.
Thanks good article

Just got a call from family friends here in Alabama who were rejoicing that they have a condominium on Gulf Shores for a full week for free. One of them knows the dangers from my telling her, but they haven't seen it on TV and such. So...Gulf Shores; here they come!
What to do?
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it think.
Peace out!
BTW, couple that with radiation in the air and you got a real good chance of harming your temple. Like to gamble? What are the odds?
Peace out!
beachbum,
Won't those friends of yours have respiratory problems there? Don't they have any sense of smell? Maybe once they arrive they will finally see the truth and get out fast!
Tar balls, dead marine life raise more questions about oil in the gulf
Though BP has continued to deny that any of its gulf wells are leaking oil, a large-scale oil slick reported in the area is worrying Gulf Coast watchdogs. Concerns abound that the oil could spell trouble for area fisheries, especially since reports of dead dolphins have persisted in recent days.
Since Tropical Storm Lee recently made landfall in ....
