A July 24 photo by Kate Mercer in the Alabama Press Register shows a 10-year old child digging in the shoreline sand at a Gulf Shores Alabama beach.
Mid-July tests of sand near the shoreline in Gulf Shores showed 211 parts per million (ppm) of toxic oil.
Another sample taken at an Alabama beach tested for 221 ppm of oil.
Normal is 0 ppm.

Parents along the Gulf Coast MUST come to grips with the fact that things are NOT the same as they were last Summer- and things WON"T be the same for a very long time to come!!!!
