60-man crew digs for tar balls in South Walton as a part of 'normal operations', Walton Sun, January 20, 2011:

A 60-man crew was spotted digging in the sand in South Walton along Scenic Hwy. 30A near the Santa Rosa Beach Club.

Workers on the scene refused to comment other than to say, “We are looking for tar balls.” ...

U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Patrick Coleman wouldn't elaborate on the operation...
