Is Naples the next coastal region in South Florida to be affected by the BP oil spill?
BP has opened a claims office in Southwest Florida without releasing this information to the media.Â It was revealed at a city council meeting by Collier County's Emergency Management coordinator.
Unfortunately for Naples, this is only the third office to be opened south of the Florida panhandle. The first two opened several weeks ago in the Florida Keys. The Florida Keys had many reports of oil around the time that BP opened claims offices in Key West and Marathon.
