“No one buying” fish from the Tampa Bay area; Fisherman “wondering whether the entire industry will shut down in the next few weeks”

Attorneys advise fishermen about oil spill damages, Hernando Today, June 18, 2010:

"Fish houses just don't want to buy his fish," said Arnold's wife, Kelly Arnold. "He fished all week. You go here, there and everywhere to market and no one is buying." ...

Fishermen are wondering whether the entire industry will shut down in the next few weeks or months. The oil is still flowing below the surface. ...

[Spokeswoman for the local seafood industry Kathryn] Birren said she's never seen so many sharks so close to the Hernando coast. Arnold said he's never seen so many turtles. They are swimming away from the black muck and the cleanest part of their habitat is shrinking.
