Oil and environmental lawyer Stuart Smith [said] during a one-on-one interview with WDSU, he doubted that BP’s containment cap is working to stop the oil.
“There were signs and symptoms that it was not intact. I think BP knew that and they knew all along … I think it’ll come out (that) they knew there were serious integrity problems with the casing,” Smith said.
