John Bolenbaugh... has posted a video on Youtube that contains text messages between himself and his former supervisor on the Calhoun County oil spill cleanup that appear to confirm that workers were told to cover up oil in many places rather than clean it up. ...

On Oct. 20, 2010 at 3:24 p.m., Bolenbaugh wrote: “I have a question. Why did Jason tell us to cover up oil. Isn’t his job to clean it up.”

“At the time there was a dedline (sic) tryin (sic) to meet it,” [Supervisor Michael] Martinez responded back that same day at 4:03 p.m.

“It still bothers me that we left oil or they cover up oil cause they had deadlines to meet. I live here,” Bolenbough texted back at 4:07 p.m.

“I understand. Wait til SET [S.E.T. Environmental] is gone then say something,” Martinez texted backed at 4:09 p.m. ...
