Dr. Harish Seethamraju is a pulmonary specialist at Methodist Hospital in Houston. Seethamraju says potential problems include wheezing and asthma, but that’s not all. “It they take a swim in these waters, the toxic chemicals can cause pneumonia and respiratory failure.” …

don’t swim and get out of the area as the air will not be fit to breath.
You know, I went to Pensacola last fall and I got short of breath walking across the sand to the beach at Navarre. Then, later that day, I went in the water for a bit, and I when I came out I nearly had to call 911, I couldn’t catch my breath. That had never happened to me before. I have to wonder if the water and air wasn’t already polluted. We cut our trip short after only one day, probably that was smart!
