Dow Jones reported that the EPA's newly released dispersant testing "was the first time the agency had sponsored independent testing."
"I can't think of another circumstance in which a regulatory agency approves something for use without actually coming to a formal decision that it is safe to be used... There doesn't appear to be an evaluating moment," Senator Sheldon Whitehouse said.
