  • well...

These big sharks are no doubt trying to move upstream into freshwater rivers for better water quality and prey. The shark is one species with a long, unyielding genetic prehistoric history and determination to survive! As fishermen know well, the Gulf & Atlantic oceans are no longer what they were!! :( I say form a marine arc while you can!

Bull sharks are know to go inlet fresh waters in Africa east coast for years, with many attacks in fresh water hundreds of miles inland on record, and many were very large bull sharks, so doesn't seem so odd they would exhibit this on other continents. May have been going on for years, just no one noticed or never reported thinking it was something else in the water.
