"I'm worried about the future, what's going to happen later," [Johnny Bourgeois Sr. of Venice, LA] said. He fears that the adult shrimp this year will not spawn again, a serious problem for a creature with a life span of roughly 12 months. Meanwhile, the small shrimp seem to have disappeared.
"It's all big shrimp," Bourgeois said.
