Official says that BP won’t pay for seafood program, Daily Comet, October 27, 2010:
[Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Secretary Robert] Barham said that, “from day one,” Wildlife and Fisheries officials disagreed with plans to apply dispersants at the leak site 5,000 miles below the surface of the Gulf of Mexico. It was something that had never been done before, and Barham said it could cause oil to linger for as long as 300 years near the bottom of the Gulf because the microscopic particles of dispersed oil are neutrally buoyant, neither sinking or rising, and are subject to extreme pressure, cold and less current.

I especially loved this gem.
Just what the fine folks on the Gulf Coast, and others who would eat Gulf Coast Seafood, need. A deceptive Marketing Campaign to manipulate their perceptions. Sorry, Barham, I've no sympathy for those who get in bed with the devil. This is not the correct approach. Not anywhere close.

I WANT TO HIRE A LOBBYIST TO END LOBBYING!
Lobbying and Corexit, it all the same to me: TOXIC Poison! Democratic Representation is an Oxymoron!
BP spends their money telling more lies. BP's new commercial- using a Louisiana fisherman [questionable] to say everything is just fine-n-dandy... Deceptive Advertising!
Three of every four oil and gas lobbyists worked for federal government. We have got to make serious changes!

Florida just received $20 million from BP--$10 million for seafood testing, and $10 million for advertising. Those tests will surely show that the seafood is safe, and if you don't believe it, we'll continue the propaganda advertising.
leak site 5,000 miles below the surface ... Fix that please
