I can see it now… BP is going to use this rig for as an excuse for any new oil that pops up, and continue to get out of things they’re responsible for.

This is the 3rd platform fire since the Horizon explosion.

The “clean-up” process ceased after media coverage stopped. There is no “clean-up”; only quick payoffs to hush people. Claims are accepted by BP and BP are paying countless victims affected by the spill anywhere from $3k – $25k per claim, contingent on a liability waiver-type form is signed by the the individual filing the claim. A quick check is dispersed and everybody is supposed to go on about their happy lives. The long-term affects to not only marine life, but also to human as well. I spent nearly a year in the area, and people are constantly sick. Instead of doing research on it, everybody just chucks it up to a “bug” that’s going around. I myself was stricken with this “bug” and I have never been sick to that extent. Constant vomiting, diarrhea, naseau, stomache cramps for days. I pride myself on maintaining a good immune system and haven’t had the flu in over 15 years. This “bug” is not just a “bug”.

“chemical flu” as it relates to the Gulf Wars in the middle-east, the Exxon-Valdez oil spill and the current crises occuring in the Gulf of Mexico

how anyone can doubt that corexit is a poison, containing multiple known hazardous ingredients to living things, is beyond me

as an important side-note, corexit was never intended to be used as an underwater dispersant. it was originally manufactured to be used only only on the surface of the water. our government allowed BP to continuously spray corexit at 5,000ft below sea level from almost day one of the “spill”

for those of you who may have missed it

Each administration picks new people to take control and run each agency, and these are less skilled or as knowledgeable as the ones that are leaving. Does anyone believe they read everything that the previous administration did and learned as well as the the past 3, 4, or 5 ?? And we wonder why we have people who seem clueless when the sh*t hits the fan and ready to take anyone word on a subject to keep from looking like a moron like so many do when Senate puts them in the hot seats to WHY they did or did not do. Then come the blank looks and I’m not sure’s, and I will have to get back to you on that ! Educated Idiots collecting big checks and no answers or administrative knowledge of facts on what they are suppose to know and keep us safe ! But they get the big checks and retirement with the Elite persona !
